Longest Plastic Toy Train Track In the World - There is a lot of categories for World record. If you see world record website, there is so many unique categories for breaking world records. The new records has been breaking that is Longest Plastic Toy Train Track In the World. It is all kids’ dream to build the longest toy track train. On 28 July 2011 the Thomas and Friends Team Japan 2011, made up by kids and parents from all around Japan and by Sony Creative Products, Inc, Fuji Kyuko Co. Ltd and Tomy Company Ltd made this dream possible, when the longest plastic toy train track ever made was finally completed at Fuji Q Highland, in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan.
The train track, using the worldwide famous characters of Thomas & Friends series took one week to be completed and is 2,221.514 m, being 207 m than the previous record holder. It used 10,575 pieces. The last piece was placed by one ofthe characters of the series, the Fat Controller in person.
Guinness World Records Adjudicators, Frank Foley and Carlos Martinez, travelled to FujiQ Highland to measure and certify the record breaking toy train track.
Ms Satsuki Okuda, from Tomy, was the person in charge to place Thomas on the track and to start his travel through the record breaking distance. Thomas and his friends then took 2 hr 53 m 36 sec to ride the track while all kids were able to enjoy it and to play while adding other sections to this incredible display.
Now, this track will be on display until 4 September as “Thomas Land Special Summer Event : The World’s Longest Plarail Thomas Premiere,” for all visitors to the Fuji-Q.
